Screen gallery

Ready-made screens, one line away.

Each screen is a web page on this site. Point ssp at its URL and it shows your own figures: the page gets a token from the daemon that can only read. Opened in a browser, it shows example figures.

Needs ssp 0.5.1 or later (earlier versions show pages from the internet without figures).

System

System

The time, CPU, memory and disk as rings, and the network over the last minute.

Reads: GET /system

ssp web https://subscreen.dev/screens/system/
Claude Code

Claude Code

Tokens in the current 5-hour block, when it ends, today’s total and every minute of the last hour. Read from Claude Code’s local logs; nothing leaves your computer.

Reads: GET /metrics/claude-code

ssp web https://subscreen.dev/screens/claude-code/
Metrics

Metrics

The figures your scripts send (ssp metric set) as tiles with a graph each, up to 8. Pick and order them with ?ids=.

Weather

Weather

The weather now, the next 24 hours and the next days, from Open-Meteo (free, no key). Give your place with ?lat=, ?lon= and ?name= (Tokyo if not); ?f for Fahrenheit. Only the place goes to Open-Meteo.

Calendar

The time and the date with this month and the next, today marked, and the week of the year. Weeks start on Sunday; ?monday starts them on Monday.

World clock

World clock

The time in up to six places, with their date, how far they are from your time and whether it is day or night there. Give the time zones with ?zones= (Tokyo, London, New York and Los Angeles if not) and their names with ?labels=.

Countdown

Countdown

Days, hours and minutes until a moment, and how long ago it was once it has passed. Give it with ?to= (2026-12-24T18:00, your time) and name it with ?label=; without them, it counts to the new year.

Make your own

  1. 01Write a page for 1920×462. Any HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Start from one of these (Source).
  2. 02Read the figures. window.ssp gives the API address and a read-only token; see “Pages shown with ssp web” in the API guide.
  3. 03Try it on the display. ssp web page.html shows a local file with the same token.
  4. 04Share it. Open a pull request that adds public/screens/<name>/ and its picture (site/scripts/shoot-screens.sh).
